White Pass Junior Senior High Earns School of Distinction Award

Superintendent of Schools, Ms. Terry Bergeson, has created an award, the new State Superintendent's"Learning Improvement Award," to honor students, teachers, administrators, parents, schools, and communities for the wonderful gains they have made in preparing our children to learn, work, live and succeed in the 21st Century.

Because of our tremendous gains in our math and reading skills over the past several years, our school has earned the recognition of this award. The award celebrates the top 5% of elementary, middle and high schools that met this year's state learning targets and demonstrated outstanding improvements in both reading and mathematics.
